Voting is open for the OMG Board of Directors and information on candidates and election period is available on the Vote page. You may vote online by Nov. 15, return the mailed ballots so it is received by Nov. 7, or bring the ballot to the Annual Meeting on Nov. 17.
The Oak Meyers Garden Association has worked with Compost Connection to establish Friday, October 18 and Friday, December 13 as 2019 yard waste collection dates to supplement the City of Kansas City Collection dates.
Yard waste route service will begin at 7:00 a.m on the two days and there is a limit of 20 items per day. Additional details on materials that can be picked up are available on the following flyer.

As part of efforts to improve and beautify the homes association, Oak Meyer Gardens representatives have been working on submitting proposals to the city to improve streets, curbs, sidewalks, and monuments. More information is on the Infrastructure Work page.
Please take a stroll around the neighborhood. Your dues and the Board have been at work
updating and reconstructing a pair of end cap monuments. The stone pedestals and statues at 66th
and Cherry have been updated; the pedestals have been repaired and topped with
limestone caps, and the Jack and Jill statues have been cleaned.
The end result makes for a lasting and improved impression
of our Oak Meyer Gardens Neighborhood. The island at 69th Street and
Cherry is getting a face-lift as well. We will have photos of this soon.
